Find any Newfoundland Website. Search Instructions

Three options can be selected for each NewfoundLinks search:

1.	*Type*	All (default)	Finds pages from all three catagories.
		Commercial	Finds only commercial pages.
		Association	Finds only charity or non-profit pages.
		Personal	Finds only personal pages.
2.	*Location*	All (default)	Finds pages from all of Newfoundland.
		Avalon	Finds pages from Avalon area.
		Central	Finds pages from central area.
		Labrador	Finds pages from Labrador.
		North	Finds pages from northern areas.
		South	Finds pages from southern areas.
		West	Finds pages from western areas.

*Keywords*	All links in the database are associated with keywords.
	A keyword may be a word or phrase.
	Each keyword is a short description of the contents of the linked page.
	Each entry may have ten keywords. Three of 25 characters and seven of 15 characters.

The Type and Location selections need no further explaination. You simply make your choice by opening the pull-down boxes with the mouse and clicking on your choice.

The Keyword selection, however, requires that you type a word in the text box.
- Proper names may be used for searches.
  - Upper case letters, however, are not distinguished in a search.
- Only alphabetic characters and apostrophes are recognized.
  - Commas and ampersands will not work.
- The short version of a word will produce more results.
  - tour will search for tour, tourist, tourism, tours, etc.
  - mun will search for mun, municipality, etc.
  - sport will search for sport, sports, sportsman, etc.
